House #1
#2 won last week's challenge! This house IS so cute and charming! I can see a black and white checked tile entry, white everywhere with fun, bright colors to accent, lots of wainscoting, fun transoms...I love to dream of this house! BUT there are so many others to choose from so here is the new house of the week! It is grey shingle, love the porch in front and back! Sorry, not the best photos but I was in a hurry and didn't want to get caught taking the picture! Cast your votes!

#2 this week. I'm sad #1 didn't make it last week!!! Where are you seeing these houses? And I totally agree with you about "being caught"! Don't you feel a little violated when you see someone in front of your house with a camera!!!
Hmmmm...This is a tough one for me because I'm not sure if the landscaping is affecting my choice. I think I'll go with #2. I know the lush green lawn is part of why I am more drawn to it. I tried to take that out of the equation, but it was tough. I really liked that first shot of #1.
Ok, the 1st house is in Federal Heights area or maybe it's Harvard/Yale in SLC. I took that picture a year ago! The yellow house is in Darien, CT, that's why the lawn is so GREEN! So, don't let the landscaping sway you! Or minor detail-that can be changed!
#2 for you, definitely, and #1 for me! (ha ha). I love the "cottage" type feel that #1 has. I love the stone chimney. Everything about it is what I love in a house and want someday for my little "cottage". #2 just feels like you and I love your ideas for inside. This is fun!
Oh, and I LOVE the porch on #1. I even love the color. I'm not sure what other color would look good because that color seems to suit it so well.
I like #2! And Joe has been teaching our boys to ski this year. I think we are waiting on the snowboarding for a little while and I just hang out with Brooklyn and take pics as they all come down.
ooh... this one is tough. There are many elements of #1 that I love, however #2 still has the overall charm that wins my vote.
house #2 is so you. loved reading about your month. Mom (myrna) is ill have Kelly check up on her please. You just never know, we need to keep in better touch. Mom was thrilled that Kelly came and helped her with scouts and knot tying. Love ya Lisa
