Junk Yard Photography
The appeal of weathered, abused items, old neglected trucks, rusty wheelbarrows, and broken down trailers, peeled paint, abandoned sheds, are the latest and greatest in photography trends. We will probably look back and think we were living in the Depression ( dressed to the nines regardless) but it sure is fun for now! I wonder what someone will think of next? This past weekend me and my sister took our families and went to Wheeler farm to see if we could get some Christmas card worthy shots for her family. The first thing I noticed was that it was extremely COLD! Next, every photographer was out setting up families EVERYWHERE! We had to wait in line for the old truck!!!! The kids definitely LOVED the farm even with red noses and frozen hands! What isn't to love about a farm? Seriously, children eat it up! I took some pictures of my ADORABLE nephews (this is a family of 4 boys!) And I even managed to get my kids too! (Bribing them with the dollar store afterwords). It was a fun afternoon! No stress, no worries. Just good times! That's how a photo shoot should be! (I think it is secretly every man's nightmare!) So, plenty of junk, plenty of cute animals, ponies everywhere, geese to chase, chickens to pester, FUN, FUN! AND, I think we got Holly's Christmas card!
