Landscaping Part Deux

We did it! We planted at least 200 plants in 3 days! I owe my family lots of favors now! They were great! We couldn't have done it without their help! My mom and dad are expert gardeners and steered us in the right direction. My mom helped place the plants which was an overwhelming job. My dad told me about Miracle Grow-Moisture Control which IS a must! Some plants were planted in gravel and are flourishing! We haven't lost any plants yet. Every day I go out and check to be sure they are happy. One day I saw a caterpillar and thought "Oh cute! A caterpillar. I have to show the kids, they'll love it!" But then I noticed alot of them and I started hacking them with the shovel! They were going to town on our new, vulnerable plants! Well we sprayed and they are now gone. We love our yard! Now Kelly has the privilege of mowing the grass! It is quite a work out! We also get to pull weeds on a regular basis. The next big, grueling project (because they're never ending) is our Costco play structure that was just delivered. Have fun Kelly!
