"Artichokes & Lemons" The best birthday surprise! (early) Painted by Laurel McFarland (my sis!) I LOVE IT!
September has been busy, busy, busy!!! We are all adjusting to new schedules and finding ways to make every one's work. Jenna and I had our birthdays, Sam started soccer again, Noah continues on with tennis, and Bailey started flute! We went to our first circus together as a family (which was stupendously entertaining!) Bailey got her first paining lesson from my sister and did very well! She now has her first oil painting completed and ready to hang in her room! We enjoyed one last trip to Bear Lake with two other families, we had family picnics and outings in Park City with the girls. I was able to go to two concerts with my friend (it's been a long time!) AND...now I'm gearing up for Halloween festivities feeling a little tired but excited as well! Fall is my favorite time of year so I will be anxiously awaiting my sweaters and boots, baking and hot tea, no more weeds to pull and no more flip flops! Have I brought out the canned pumpkin yet you ask??? YES!!! And they'll be more! Happy fall!!!!

Yes, tea time indeed! I'm sitting here with a cup of apple cinnamon and the thermostat reads 68! Come on Virginia Beach, a little warmth please! Fall is the best and I too love fall/winter clothes. So cozy. Happy late birthday to Jean! Love that girl. I worry that I sounded a little negative on the phone Friday--you can do anything you put your mind to, it's just been a lot of work and time for us, but there is nothing better than hearing the girls play so it all definitely pays off. Good luck! Have you come to a hair decision? I think I have. I think. Depends on how brave I actually am. More to come on that I think! Happy Fall!
