I went on a carrot baking frenzy around Easter time. Glad I did because I learned a lot. And now I appreciate the carrot cake more than ever! I found some really amazing recipes and just had to share some pictures and thoughts. I go through on again off again baking frenzies where I'll bake 3 things in one day and then go two weeks with nothing. One Sunday (my favorite day to bake) Kelly said that he would clean up behind me if I wanted to bake all 3 cookies I had in mind (can never decide so why not just make them all?) I jumped at the chance to have Kelly there with me, following me around the kitchen, taking bowls for me and washing them so I could use them again! I've told you, I'm a very messy cook! I'll share some other things I plan to make in the next week. They may not be impressive but they are things I haven't made for a LONG time! Oldies but goodies! I'm excited for spring cooking!

Recipes, please!! I love all things carrot. I was gonna make Aunt Margaret's carrot cake this week, but I have strep throat and have been to sick. Now I'm jealous and craving it again!
I'm sure everything tasted as heavenly as they look! I'd love the recipe for those cookies since maybe I could handle making those... Your family is SO lucky!!!
Ummm, I lost track of how many of those little cupcakes I popped in my mouth on Easter! They were that good. I too love carrot cake and I don't care what anybody else says--the more oil the better!! And you got me curious about what "oldies" you're going to make. (this will say it's from Gwen but it's me, Erika. I'm too lazy to log out and log back in because it will erase what I just wrote and I'll have to type it again Ü)
Excuse me BUT you cannot rave about such wonderful yummies and leave us all hangin'! Please share the recipes!!!!! Looks like April is getting away from me..how about a photo get together either next week or early May before the workshop???
Wow! I wish I could cook like that. BTW thanks for the carrot cookies! They were yummy!
You're amazing! I would love to just watch you in action, flour flying, pans clattering. Kelly frantically cleaning up behind you. Awesome.
