Run. Drive. Sleep? Repeat.

This is what Ragnar is all about. You run your guts out, drive around cheering your teammates on, you don't sleep, you run some more, you get silly, slap happy, you snack but don't eat, you are tired but can't sleep, you sing, you decorate your van, you laugh at other team's vans, costumes, you run again and again and just when you think you are going to collapse, you are DONE! You get a metal and you go home feeling like you are strong yet sore and tired, but you DID IT!!!!!! I had a great weekend with some of my best friends and with my new best friends. It was a party on wheels! All of our runners did AWESOME!!!! Our friend Lauretta filled in for one of our runners that got sick and she was a ROCK STAR!!!! Misty and Kristen were such fun to have as our drivers. They were soooo supportive and hilarious! Always a laugh! Misty wrote us notes on our water bottles and Kristen got out and sprayed us down with water or played music really loud from the car for us. They were troopers to do that for us! We had fun getting to know each other better, and making new friends. Ally and Anna were ideal running companions and I am happy we had this opportunity to meet and become friends! I love them! It is fun to see the camaraderie between runners. People were cheering on total strangers! Would I do it again? YES!!!!!! I'm planning on it! Thank you Heidi for being my motivation, my trainer and for organizing our team!!!!! To treat ourselves after the race we went to see Cher in Vegas. (The race started in the Valley of Fire/Lake Mead area and went to Vegas) Not only was this Heidi's dream but we all loved it too! It was unforgettable! So does anyone want to run tomorrow morning at 5:45??? RAGNAR!!!!!!!!!!
