Last night Kel and I went to the long awaited Broadway play, Wicked, at Capitol Theatre. We began the night dining up Millcreek Canyon at Log Haven, waited upon by a friend of ours who we didn't know worked there! We had a nice, quiet dinner sitting by the window overlooking the falls and trees. Coach Malone was there too! We then raced back through the rain to Salt Lake and saw the play. I hadn't researched this play because I heard it was SOOOOOO GOOD and didn't need to know more than that. I am glad I went in not knowing the story because I was pleasantly surprised!!! Favorites: Costume-WOW! Tim Burton would be drooling! Songs-"Popular", of course, and "Defying Gravity". Loved the creative twists with Wizard of OZ movie! Very clever! Kelly's mom, two sisters, and niece and nephew were also there! These pictures are LAME and I almost got kicked out taking them with my little pocket camera but had to do it. So, if you haven't seen Wicked yet, take the next opportunity, you will become a believer!

SO glad you loved it! My family thinks I am "fan"atical because I've seen it 5 times and want to see it 5 more... but it's different each time I see it so I count it as a different play--ha ha!
You're so lucky you got to see it! I heard tickets are hard to get.
I am so jealous!!! What a fun night...I keep tying to talk my husband into a trip to NY and I would love to go see that play...Log Haven is a great, BEAUTIFUL place to eat as well. Glad you had a good time!!!
